Full Version: Links Not Working

I just installed KwikContent on my first site and none of the links on the homepage are working. I read in another thread that this was probably because of a problem with the .htaccess file. I tried checking the file, but it is blank. Please advise. Thanks!
Chances are that there was already an .htccess file in place when you uploaded your Kwikcontent files to your server (many hosts do that). That may have caused the FTP program to ignore the new upload. You'll just need to reupload (and overwrite) the .htaccess file in your software to your server. That should do the trick!
I can't find the file in the download folder. Where is it located?
The .htaccess file is in the base directory of your software. It is in there with files like index.php, google_search.php, yahoo_answers.php, etc.

Some programs won't recognize the goofy extension on your computer, so you may have a tough time seeing it. So I've attached it to this post. Keep in mind that the attachment is a zip file. The .htaccess file is in the zip.

Hi,

I uploaded the new file you provided, but the links still do not work from the homepage. I tried going to the admin area and updating the content, but now it displays the following error message:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/gpyoung/public_html/includes/_classes.php on line 42

Warning: in_array() [function.in-array]: Wrong datatype for second argument in /home/gpyoung/public_html/includes/_classes.php on line 50

Please Advise

Also, for future reference-I figured out that the problem with the .htaccess file not showing up in the unzipped folder was because I am running Mac OS X which automatically hides files starting with a period.
Nevermind-I managed to fix the problem with the links. Thanks again for your excellent support!
