I just rec'd the following email from a person who has a link on my site:

Quote:My name is Johannes Gross and I am the webmaster of Kobie Complete Heating & Cooling in Englewood, Florida.
Today I noticed that there is one link from http://www.superiorheatingandair.com/oth...oning.html pointing to our website kobiecomplete.com. Since this link is harming us, I ask you kindly to remove it.

Thank you very much!

I went into the admin section, but have no idea where to start to find and remove his link.

Just for the record, I think the guy is crazy. It's a very relevant link that doesnt use keyword stuffing. - Crazy in my opinion, but I will remove it for him.

Thanks,
Dave
Any word on this? I have another email from a different person regarding an unwanted link on this page: http://www.rwheatingandairconditioning.c...stems.html

Can you write a simple tool that would allow us to easily find and remove a hyperlink?

I ignore most of those requets unless it is a real takedown notice.

Normally I just go inside the links database and find the link and delete via sql.
