Here is my website:
bestonlinebid.com. This is the error I get:
Warning: include_once(/home/director/public_html/includes/_functions.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in
/home/director/public_html/bestonlinebid/includes/_global.php on
line 66
This is line 66 in _global.php: include_once(INCLUDES_DIR.'_functions.php');
You can see all the errors by visiting the homepage. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave
PS. Can I edit the .htaccess file to eliminate "www", or is that auto-generated each time?

You need to install in the root directory of website and can not place it in s sub folder.
So it needs to be at bestonlinebid.com and not any other folder underneath it.l

It is installed in the right folder: "public_html/bestonlinebid".
I have one other domain and it is installed exactly the same way from what I can tell and it works fine. I have tried uploading both the _global.php and _functions.php files and over writing the existing files. I then change the DB,Ussername and PW, etc, but that doesn't help either.
Why is it looking in the root and not in the folder public_html/bestonlinebid?
Thanks,
Dave

Change these lines in _global.php:
Code:
//provide the full path of your site
define("BASE_URL", "http://www.yourdomain.com/");
//directory definitions
define("BASE_FOLDER", "/");
to:
Code:
//provide the full path of your site
define("BASE_URL", "http://directoriesbidding.com/bestonlinebid/");
//directory definitions
define("BASE_FOLDER", "/bestonlinebid/");

Thanks George, that did the trick.
I looked at the first one I built and it didn't require that fix though and it works just fine. Could it have been because Instead of uploading from my hardrive, I copied to a different folder using cPanel?
It doesn't exist in the origianl _global.php either, maybe I will add that code to it.
Anyway, thanks again.

I just noticed that now it's installed as a subfolder of
www.directoriesbidding.com. That's not where I want it installed. I own the domain
www.bestonlinebid.com.
How do I fix that?

The problem was with the hosting account.
I contacted my hosting provider and they fixed it right away. It had to do with "masking". Apparently I created the add-on domain before Godaddy updated the nameservers and that caused everything to redirect to the primary domain.
